The first in an exciting new series of Food & Wine Masterclasses will immerse participants in the elegant but hearty flavours of Burgundy.

Led by Zoltan, fine food expert, chef, epicurean, and founder of Mill Road’s delicatessen Culinaris, and Cong, wine educator, writer, and sommelier-owner of the Amphora wine shop and bar, here’s what you can expect from this interactive Masterclass:

  • Zoltan demonstrates live the essential culinary techniques in creating a perfect classic boeuf bourguignon
  • Taste for yourself the impact of different wines and spices (including 4 different types of pepper!) in the dish, as we cook it two ways
  • Learn how to assemble and present a French cheese and meat board that will pair with Burgundian wines
  • Enjoy the cheese and meat board, and freshly cooked boeuf bourguignon, paired with a range of 4 delicious wines from Burgundy
  • Spice kits and wines will be available for purchase on the night
  • Leave equipped with the recipe, ingredients lists, notes, and newfound confidence
