About Amphora
Amphora was an wine shop-wine bar hybrid on Devonshire Road for 27 months, winning Decanter’s Retail Awards for Best Newcomer in 2023. We are temporarily closed, seeking a new venue, but working to get our wines online, and still hosting tastings in the meantime.
Help choosing wine
we are happy to offer a complimentary custom wines selection service. Matching wines with people’s tastes was always Amphora’s forte! Just send us a message with what styles of wine you are seeking, and an idea of your budget. It’s ok if you can’t articulate exactly what you’re after. We’re here to help.
Wine Tastings
If you enjoy exploring new wines, or meeting other wine enthusiasts, we highly recommend coming to a wine tasting, which are on Tuesday/Wednesday most weeks. Have a look at our upcoming events (below)
