This thin-skinned grape makes some of the most desirable wines in the world, from beautifully-balanced Burgundies to beautiful Blancs de Noirs. While this tasting will certainly feature both of those, we will also taste fruity Sancerre Rouge, and terrific cool climate examples from South Africa, Australia, and the Americas, because who can forget Willamette Valley?
All our tastings are accompanied by appropriately matched cheeses and other snacks. Please note that this is designed as an accompaniment to the wine, which is the main focus of the event.
