At this event you will taste inexpensive (but good) examples of wines from the same region alongside premium ones. We won’t tell you which is which – see if you can spot the difference. We explore the components of vineyard and winemaking practice that contribute to the cost of wine production, and therefore why a wine costs what it does. This format is back by popular demand, as one of the fasted-booked tastings we have done.
For those of you who have been to a previous budget vs premium tasting, rest assured: this tasting will feature different wines.
This tasting will feature 8 wines in 4 flights. The wines included in the tasting will be available for purchase or order at the end of the tastings at a discount. We recommend you have a light supper or hearty lunch prior to the event in order to best appreciate the wines.
Cancellation Policy:
If we need to cancel this event, we will notify you in advance and issue a full refund. If you can no longer make a tasting, and email us at wine@amphoracambridge.com over 48 hours before the tasting, we will issue you a full refund, or you may transfer your booking to a future event or store credit. Within 48h of an event, we cannot provide a refund or booking transfer, but you are welcome to send a friend in your place.
